What you will do

• Adjudicate assigned claims and provide operational support to the claims team.
• Resolve moderate to complex claims, managing all phases of litigation.
• Document claim files in compliance with company policies and regulatory authorities.
• Draft coverage letters, including reservations of rights and denial letters.
• Analyze documentation to set accurate reserves and identify emerging exposures or trends.
• Manage the deployment of defense counsel and coordinate with the special investigations unit to track fraud.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of claims handling experience in commercial general liability with an insurance carrier.
• Advanced knowledge of claims analysis, adjusting practices, and legal filings.
• Proven ability to negotiate settlements for moderate to complex claims.
• Experience in mentoring and training other claims examiners.
• Active insurance adjuster’s license is required.
• B.A./B.S degree from an accredited College or University preferred.
