What you will do

• Resolve moderate to high complexity construction claims from coverage enquiry through to final resolution.
• Analyze policies and draft coverage position letters independently.
• Direct investigations, monitor outside counsel, and manage litigation strategies for disputed claims.
• Determine liability and quantum analysis to set accurate reserves and negotiate settlements.
• Serve as a technical resource for underwriters and assist in drafting policy wording.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and training to new hires and junior claims staff.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of claims handling experience, including at least 3 years as a Claims Examiner.
• Must hold or be eligible to receive a claims adjuster license.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of tort and contract law.
• Proven experience in negotiation, mediations, and monitoring trials.
• Mandatory US Work Authorization (no sponsorship available).

• JD, advanced degree, or focused technical degree.
• Industry designations such as CPCU, ARM, AIC, SCLA, or INS.
• Participation in specialized training (e.g., Munich Re, CLM Claim College).
