What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of Gen AI data engagements, from scoping and resource planning to final client sign-off.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for high-value clients, managing relationships with AI researchers and executives.
• Architect data pipelines, quality frameworks, and review infrastructure to enable execution at scale.
• Manage timelines, staffing, and KPIs across multiple concurrent projects to ensure stability and quality.
• Recruit, mentor, and performance-manage a team of operations and subject matter experts.
• Collaborate with Go-to-Market teams to identify and propose scope expansion opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco
• 4+ years of experience managing complex technical projects in client-facing roles, preferably in a high-growth startup.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with a strong background in machine learning, statistics, or data science.
• Experience communicating complex technical project statuses to C-level stakeholders (CTO, VP).
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (CS, Math, Statistics, ML, or Engineering).
• Working knowledge of the Gen AI landscape, specifically LLM training and evaluation.

Nice to have

• Experience managing large distributed contributor or expert workforces.
• Background in management consulting, investment banking, or technical services.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
