TL;DR

Scrum Master (Fintech): Leading and mentoring scrum teams to deliver complex IT and change projects within the retail financial services sector with an accent on Agile excellence and delivery outcomes. Focus on removing impediments, collaborating with Product Owners and Architects, and optimizing delivery pipelines in Azure cloud environments.

Location: Hybrid in Hove, UK

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor scrum teams across a range of complex and diverse projects to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to groom and maintain the product backlog.
  • Remove impediments to the team's work to ensure timely and successful delivery of requirements.
  • Work with IT Technical and Cloud Infrastructure Architects to build and maintain applications in Azure.
  • Improve team communication and transparency, ensuring the right information reaches the right stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain documentation for knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a professional IT environment, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with automated testing, pair programming, and continuous delivery.
  • Knowledge of Test-Driven (TDD) or Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) methods and frameworks.
  • Proficiency with CI/CT and DevOps tools and technologies.
  • Experience in an Agile methodology (working within or implementing).
  • Must be based in or able to work in Hove, UK.
