What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day EHS activities, focusing on biological and hazardous waste programs.
• Provide operational support for Radiation, Laser, and Biosafety programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Implement and improve EHS programs including Ergonomics, PPE, and Respiratory Protection.
• Manage EHS representative onboarding, training, and equipment calibration.
• Conduct accident/incident reviews and manage OSHA recordable injuries.
• Supervise contractors and interns, and coordinate EHS aspects of lab decommissioning and moves.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA.
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, physical/biological science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in environment, health, and safety programs.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, NRC, and Massachusetts state regulations (DPH, DEP, Fire Prevention).
• Ability to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call EHS emergency response team.
