What you will do

• Own operational and organizational continuity for the hirify.global development site in Cologne.
• Act as the central contact for site-related topics including office management, facilities, employee retention, and culture-building.
• Lead and provide content guidance to a development team (~15 employees) working on the Website Builder Application together with product management and stakeholders.
• Ensure technical development accountability: safeguard quality, reliability, and innovation pace for the Website Builder Application.
• Drive the “AI first” initiative at the Cologne site and enable employees to use AI methods and tools productively in daily work.
• Collaborate with senior management, other site leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives and scale best practices.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a comparable leadership/management role, ideally as Site Lead, Engineering Manager, or Head of Development.
• Proven track record leading, developing, and motivating software engineering teams, ideally for web applications, SaaS, or website builder products.
• Solid technical understanding of modern web technologies and agile development/product processes to guide the team effectively.
• Hands-on experience with AI and GenAI tools, including understanding how to integrate AI into engineering workflows and product development.
• Strong hands-on mentality with strategic vision, ownership, and long-term thinking.
• Strong verbal and written German skills; English is a plus.
