What you will do
- Develop and execute a strategy to build, maintain, and expand Vanta for Government business across the SLED market.
- Prospect, pursue, and capture SLED sales opportunities as an individual contributor.
- Drive sales and implementation of complex contracts, services, and solutions, using effective sales and negotiation methods.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key SLED accounts and represent the Public Sector team at industry events.
- Build strategic relationships with SLED decision-makers, systems integrators, and technology partners.
- Partner with SLED resellers, distributors, MSPs, and channel partners to accelerate and expand deals.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive enterprise sales experience, including at least 4 years selling to SLED agencies within a SaaS company.
- Strong understanding of SLED sales cycles and procurement landscape, including contract vehicles and compliance requirements (e.g., GovRAMP).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse public sector audiences.
- Ability to develop deep familiarity with the Vanta platform and build rapport with highly technical prospects.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Consultative selling approach with a track record of long-term customer retention.
