What you will do

• Lead the design and engineering of complex electronic security systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
• Develop detailed system specifications, budgets, timelines, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for customer RFPs.
• Create technical drawings and models (30% to 100% IFC) using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Perform quality control reviews on designs and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and coach Design Engineers and Associate Design Engineers to foster team growth.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to manage project expectations and ensure technical requirements are met.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 5-7+ years of experience in ESS systems design, integration, or engineering.
• 2+ years of team leadership or engineering management experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
• Strong understanding of enterprise-level networking and IP-based ESS system architecture.
• Ability to travel to active job sites for training and project support.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications in access control or video surveillance (e.g., Lenel Onguard, Milestone).
• Experience with platforms such as CCure, Honeywell, Brivo, ExacqVision, Eagle Eye, Axis, and Hanwha.
