What you will do

• Lead business and functional requirements gathering for complex technology projects and strategic initiatives.
• Develop high-quality documentation, including user stories, process maps, data flows, and traceability matrices.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and solution designers on APIs, system integrations, and cross-platform data movement.
• Support end-to-end SDLC delivery using both Agile and traditional waterfall governance environments.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), covering planning, script development, execution, and sign-off.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst specifically within the insurance industry.
• Deep domain expertise in underwriting processes, pricing concepts, and policy administration platforms.
• Proven experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in writing business requirements and user stories for enterprise IT environments.
• Ability to engage confidently with technical delivery teams, architects, and business leadership.
• Must be based in London to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and system consolidation programmes.
• Background in legacy platform decommissioning and target-state transformation.
• Experience with enterprise integration programmes and reporting/analytics solutions.
