Senior Pricing Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid, Eastleigh or London, with office attendance once a month; flexible working is available within the UK

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per year

What you will do

• Extract, manipulate and analyze large datasets for pricing decisions and performance monitoring.
• Deliver pricing analysis and clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to forecasting and connect pricing activity with business stakeholders.
• Support and oversee rate releases in live pricing environments.
• Combine MI, modeling outputs and commercial targets to assess pricing performance.
• Own the end-to-end price control cycle from development through implementation and monitor market and competitor trends.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of pricing experience.
• Knowledge of insurance products and distribution channels, ideally household insurance.
• Experience exploring, validating and analyzing large datasets.
• Strong programming skills in SAS, R or Python and experience with statistical or actuarial tools.
• Experience with Radar or similar pricing software.
• Understanding of predictive modeling techniques such as GLMs, GBMs, Random Forests or Neural Networks, plus strong stakeholder management skills.
