What you will do

• Lead and oversee all purchasing and sourcing activities, including transactional purchasing for direct and indirect components, raw materials, and services.
• Support strategic and transactional sourcing processes, integrate procurement standards, and deliver annual savings targets.
• Manage supplier performance, supplier audits/visits/evaluations, and develop supply chain partnerships with key suppliers.
• Execute global plastics segment strategies to streamline and consolidate the supplier base aligned with quality, ESG, compliance, and continuous improvement goals.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, Engineering, Marketing, production planning, and customer service on sourcing and demand fulfillment.
• Manage tooling and related capital budget planning/execution, and implement inventory strategies (e.g., safety stock, consignment, VMI) to balance cost and business risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or Business (or equivalent).
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in sourcing, purchasing, or procurement.
• English proficiency required (read, write, and speak).
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage approximately 9 direct/indirect reports.
• Knowledge of commodity strategies (spend and supply market analysis, cost savings methodology, requirements planning, performance reporting).
• Understanding of quality control standards (ISO, AQL) and/or experience in a highly regulated environment.
