What you will do

• Execute reconciliation processes with intermediate complexity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
• Resolve routine and moderately complex reconciliation issues using established procedures and solutions.
• Mentor and train junior staff and new hires involved in the reconciliation process.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Liaise with internal departments (accounting, trading, risk management) and communicate reconciliation results and follow-ups to stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in financial reconciliations, financial analysis, or related roles in the banking and finance industry.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and diagnose discrepancies.
• Meticulous attention to detail to verify data discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, risk management practices, and internal controls.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365; familiarity with reconciliation tools (e.g., Duco Tool, Intellimatch) and knowledge of SWIFT messaging (MX/MT).
