What you will do

• Conduct deep-dive analyses of process maps and procedures to identify operational control gaps.
• Perform gap analysis comparing current process maps with procedure documents and desired future states.
• Develop and present recommendations for process improvements and operational change.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation and monitoring of process changes.
• Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and organizational standards.
• Coordinate with 1st and 2nd line controls functions to ensure alignment with broader monitoring programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in documenting and enhancing business processes within asset management or operational environments.
• Proven success collaborating with subject matter experts to translate requirements into structured process documentation.
• Strong ability to analyze complex business processes and communicate them via written documentation and visual diagrams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, specifically at the executive level.
• Must be based in Halifax, NS, Canada

Nice to have

• Familiarity with project management or change management.
• Strong background in fund services or experience working with a Big 4 firm.
