TL;DR

Head of People Technology (HRIS): Designing and implementing a global People tech architecture and HRIS migration to support scaling from 600 to 1,500 employees with an accent on system integration, data governance, and global compliance. Focus on building a robust hire-to-retire pipeline, automating lifecycle events, and implementing an AI strategy across the People stack.

What you will do

  • Define the People tech architecture and a 12–24 month roadmap tied to global headcount expansion.
  • Lead the HRIS evaluation, vendor RFP process, commercial negotiation, and full-scale migration.
  • Own the integration layer between HRIS, ATS (Ashby), e-signing (Ironclad), payroll, and Finance/ERP.
  • Establish People data definitions, taxonomy, quality standards, and self-service BI dashboards.
  • Automate onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, and other employee lifecycle events.
  • Set the AI strategy for sourcing, screening, and internal copilots, including governance and compliance.

Requirements

  • Experience leading major HRIS migrations in companies scaling through significant headcount inflection points.
  • Track record of owning the People tech stack and making build-vs-buy decisions.
  • Fluency in People data, governance, and analytics infrastructure.
  • Experience operating across multiple geographies and legal entities, including GDPR and multi-country payroll integrations.
