What you will do

  • Oversee the administration of the cash balance Pension Plan and coordinate data provision to third-party administrators.
  • Manage 401(k) and Nonqualified Deferred Compensation plans, resolving issues and coordinating investment fund changes.
  • Administer executive benefits, including individual disability programs and open enrollment for nonqualified plans.
  • Perform data analysis and develop report specifications to ensure benefits accuracy and system integrity.
  • Manage day-to-day vendor relationships to ensure high-quality customer service for employees.
  • Support ancillary benefits like PTO, wellness programs, and health and welfare plans using Workday.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of direct experience in retirement benefits administration.
  • Expertise in pension plans, 401(k), and nonqualified deferred compensation.
  • Deep knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and Form 5500.
  • Strong technical skills in data analysis, file comparisons, and system testing.
  • Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Chicago, IL.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Workday HRIS.
  • General knowledge of Health and Welfare, Insurance, and Leave plans.
