What you will do

  • Administer US benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, 401(k) management, annual audit support, and vendor/broker relationship management.
  • Run the annual open enrollment end to end, covering system configuration, employee communications, and post-enrollment audits and corrections.
  • Evaluate and recommend benefits enhancements based on cost, quality, and operational efficiency with HR and service providers.
  • Create and deliver benefits communications and educational resources for employees and new hires.
  • Conduct regular benefits audits, identify improvement opportunities, and build action plans for scalability and long-term sustainability.
  • Produce benefits utilization reports, cost analyses, and benchmarking data to support leadership decisions.
  • Monitor legislative changes and industry best practices and recommend program adjustments to maintain compliance and competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Location: USA (MA - Chelmsford)
  • 5+ years of dedicated benefits administration experience, with broader background in HR compliance, employment law, and employee relations.
  • Thorough knowledge of benefits laws and regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA.
  • Proven experience managing vendor and broker relationships and leading the full open enrollment lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret benefits utilization data, cost trends, and market benchmarking.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS experience required.
