Location: Must be based in Houston, Texas, USA (Hybrid role).

What you will do

  • Provide high-level operative support for health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefit programs.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with federal and state regulations including HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and ERISA.
  • Manage relationships with insurance carriers and vendors to resolve file feed issues and billing discrepancies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate benefit-related training, orientations, and annual open enrollment processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new benefits initiatives and wellness communications.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Technical knowledge of federal and state benefits laws (HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, PFL, ADA, ERISA, ACA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically VLookups and Pivot Tables.
  • Strong public speaking skills for presenting information in person or virtually.
  • Effective planning, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
