What you will do

• Lead the strategy, governance, and delivery of U.S. benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with Total Rewards.
• Oversee daily operations for medical, retirement, disability, life, and voluntary benefits.
• Manage benefits financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Serve as the primary benefits advisor for unionized populations during collective bargaining with data-driven modeling.
• Partner with HR, Labor Relations, Legal, and Finance to guide benefits decision-making.
• Direct annual benefits cycles, including renewals, open enrollment, audits, and filings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 7 years of progressive experience in U.S. Benefits, Total Rewards, or HR leadership.
• Must be based in or able to work from Akron, OH for a hybrid schedule.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA.
• Professional certifications including CEBS or CBP.
• Proven track record in the operational delivery of benefit programs.
