TL;DR

Strategic Finance (SaaS, AI): Owning and improving Figma’s financial planning and forecasting processes with an accent on driving resource allocation and business performance monitoring. Focus on financial analysis, executive decision-making support, and experimenting with AI-driven solutions to automate workflows.

Location: Hybrid (United States). This role can be held from a US hub (San Francisco, CA or New York, NY) or remotely within the United States. In-person onboarding is required.

Salary: $112,000 - $238,000 USD (annual base salary for SF/NY hubs, localized for remote roles)

What you will do

• Drive alignment on KPIs and key metrics to monitor business performance and growth.
• Build annual operating plans, quarterly, and monthly financial forecasts.
• Develop cross-functional partnerships to formulate business insights and inform executive decision-making.
• Own, run, and improve financial processes that support Figma’s business.
• Partner with Strategic Finance, Data Science, and RevOps to improve ARR data quality and forecasting.
• Prepare and deliver presentations for the Executive Team.
• Experiment with AI-driven solutions to automate workflows, enhance accuracy, and elevate the speed and impact of Strategic Finance operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, Big 4 audit, business operations, or related fields.
• Experience in financial planning and creating data-driven analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to build processes from scratch and distill complex issues into structured frameworks.
• Experience problem-solving independently, organizing workload and priorities, and completing tasks on time.
• Experience building relationships and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and functions.
• Genuine curiosity and passion in the work that you do.
• Work authorization for the United States is required.
• Must attend in-person onboarding.

Nice to have

• Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company, with Go-To-Market experience.
• SQL/AI tooling experience and deep experience working with large data-sets.
