Manager, Strategic Finance (Robotics)

Location: Remote within the USA; strong preference for Austin, Texas. Travel required 2–4 times per year for approximately 4–5 business days per trip.

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity. Compensation varies based on geographic location and level.

What you will do

• Lead strategic prioritization, capital allocation, market sizing, valuation, and investment analysis for major initiatives and new markets.
• Build financial models for capital budgeting, pricing, partnerships, M&A, commercial agreements, and post-deal performance tracking.
• Own the budget, rolling forecast, long-range plan, KPI framework, and unit-economics analysis.
• Partner with the Diligent Robotics and hirify.global CEOs and COOs on operating performance, resource allocation, and investment decisions.
• Prepare executive, board, and investor presentations connecting strategy, financial results, and value creation.
• Own the Pigment planning environment and improve financial data accuracy, automation, and process scalability.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA; Austin, Texas is strongly preferred.
• 6–8+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, corporate development, or FP&A.
• Experience with capital budgeting, NPV/IRR, market sizing, valuation, M&A or partnership modeling, and multi-year financial plans.
• Experience partnering directly with C-level executives and presenting financial models to executives, boards, or investors.
• Expert proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel, including complex modeling and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Pigment or a comparable enterprise planning platform, plus knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and ERP systems such as NetSuite.

Nice to have

• Experience in investment banking, management consulting, venture capital, private equity, or corporate development.
• Background in robotics, hardware, healthcare technology, or other capital-intensive operating businesses.
• Prior people-management experience or readiness to build and lead a small team.
• MBA, CFA, or CPA.
