What you will do

• Act as the mechanical Critical to Quality (CTQ) owner for cleaning process changes and monitoring.
• Lead cross-functional Failure Analysis (FA) activities to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal factory teams and US-based development teams to support design maturity and process changes.
• Oversee mechanical evaluations, ensuring best practices are followed and critical data is accurately collected.
• Develop slider notifications and alerts to communicate process changes and mechanical impacts.
• Support the ramp-up of Heat-Assisted Magnetic Recording (HAMR) by validating test scripts and data collection.

Requirements

• Must be based in Teparuk, Thailand
• Master’s degree with 3+ years or Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong technical background in process engineering, surface chemistry, and cleaning systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including SQL, JMP, and Minitab.
• Fluent in English communication, both spoken and written
• Experience with failure analysis equipment such as AFM and SEM.

Nice to have

• Experience with KNIME workflows.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma tools like DOE, FMEA, and CTQ flow down.
• Understanding of product development cycles in the data storage industry.
