What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and maintain complex manufacturing equipment used in mechanical design verification testing.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process and equipment-related issues.
• Support engineering teams in process improvement, yield enhancement, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Assist in the setup and qualification of new tools, processes, and products.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of logs, reports, and data within lab tracking systems.

Requirements

• High Vocational Certificate in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in HDD or semiconductor industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with precision tools, microscopes, and automated equipment.
• Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, 5 Why, and other problem-solving methodologies.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom and shift-based environment.
• Basic English proficiency (reading and writing).

Nice to have

• Experience repairing and maintaining ET or other testers used in HDD manufacturing.
• Ability to understand and read electronic schematics.
• Basic programming or scripting skills for equipment automation (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
