Software Technical Program Manager, Energy Storage

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional programs for embedded firmware in power electronics, energy management systems, and battery management software.
• Drive software development planning, sprint facilitation, backlog prioritization, standups, and sprint reviews.
• Coordinate software, controls, systems, and electrical engineers on requirements, technical interfaces, dependencies, and validation strategies.
• Track milestones, communicate progress, identify technical blockers, and develop mitigation plans.
• Support test planning, software releases, and integration with laboratory and field validation.
• Establish change management and version control processes for rapid system iteration.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of technical program management experience focused on software and firmware in hardware-integrated systems.
• Experience with software development lifecycle practices, including Agile, CI/CD, code reviews, and release planning.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary software products involving electrical, mechanical, and systems teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including presenting to internal and external executives.
• Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, MS Project, or Asana.
