Manager, Commercial Program Management (Nuclear Energy): Leading strategic commercial and partnership programs from opportunity development through measurable business outcomes with an accent on cross-functional coordination, proposal development, partnership management, and CRM optimization. Focus on aligning Commercial, Strategy, Licensing, and Technology teams, managing milestones and risks, and advancing commercialization of fluoride-salt-cooled, high-temperature reactor technology.

Location: Onsite in Alameda, CA, Albuquerque, NM, or Oak Ridge, TN; work in the United States requires authorization to access Department of Energy Part 810-controlled information.

Salary: $155,600–$194,600 per year for employees working onsite at the Alameda, CA headquarters.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end execution of strategic commercial programs, including objectives, timelines, resources, milestones, KPIs, reporting, and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate communication and alignment across Commercial, Strategy, Licensing, Technology, leadership, executives, customers, and external partners.
  • Lead proposal development from opportunity identification through submission and create data-driven proposals with internal teams.
  • Support the creation, implementation, and optimization of customer and partnership programs.
  • Use customer and partner feedback to identify trends, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Enhance CRM functionality, data quality, user adoption, and processes supporting customer engagement and business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; a business-related master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in program management, project management, customer or partner management, or a related field.
  • Experience building cross-functional relationships and influencing outcomes through collaboration and communication.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to interpret commercial contracts and agreements and extract milestones, requirements, and timelines.
  • Must be authorized to access applicable Department of Energy Part 810-controlled information; additional licensing restrictions may apply to some foreign nationals.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the energy sector.
  • Direct experience in the nuclear energy industry.
  • Experience in partner or customer management, initiative coordination, technology development, supply chain, or cost-impacting collaborations.
  • Master’s degree in a business-related field.
