Account Director (Life Sciences): Managing executive-level relationships with biopharma, medtech, and life science services organizations to deploy AI technology with an accent on R&D acceleration and regulatory workflow improvement. Focus on designing high-impact AI deployments for drug discovery, clinical trial operations, and enterprise knowledge workflows in highly regulated environments.
Location: Remote (USA), although New York or San Francisco office locations are preferred (Hybrid: 3 days in office). Relocation assistance is provided.
Salary: $189K – $240K + Equity + Commission

What you will do
- Manage a strategic portfolio of life sciences accounts across biopharma, medtech, diagnostics, CROs, and CDMOs.
- Develop long-term account plans mapping AI capabilities to customer priorities in R&D, clinical development, and manufacturing.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with C-suite executives, technical leaders, and compliance teams.
- Identify and shape high-value AI use cases such as drug discovery support, pharmacovigilance, and medical writing.
- Partner with solutions and research engineering to design pilots that demonstrate measurable scientific and operational impact.
- Collaborate with privacy and legal partners to support responsible AI deployment in GxP and regulated environments.
Requirements
- 14+ years of experience selling complex enterprise software, cloud, or AI solutions to life sciences customers.
- Proven track record of exceeding multi-million-dollar annual revenue targets in regulated enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of life sciences workflows, including drug discovery, clinical development, and regulatory submissions.
- Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships across R&D, IT, security, and data organizations.
- Familiarity with data privacy, security, validation, and GxP considerations relevant to life sciences.
- Must be based in the US or be eligible for relocation to the US.
