Salary: $119,000 – $147,000 per year

What you will do

• Drive day-to-day general ledger accounting across multiple financial statement line items in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Own core month-end close workstreams, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
• Manage AP, corporate credit cards, and employee reimbursements while partnering with internal spend owners.
• Implement process improvements and AI-enabled automation to streamline accounting operations and internal controls.
• Supervise and review the work of overseas resources regarding AP, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with external audits by preparing supporting schedules and documentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally at a high-growth startup or public accounting firm.
• Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with NetSuite, Brex, Airbase, or Numeric.
