Salary: $206,000–$275,000 per year

What you will do
- Oversee revenue recognition process and establish scalable systems partnering with Sales, FP&A, Rev Ops, Legal, and Engineering
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of revenue-related financial reporting per ASC 606 and other standards
- Collaborate with external auditors and provide guidance on revenue accounting practices
- Monitor revenue accounting guidance developments and advise leadership on impacts and strategies
- Improve and automate revenue accounting processes, controls, and systems for scalability
- Mentor and lead a high-performing revenue accounting team
Requirements
- Must have 12+ years of accounting experience focused on revenue recognition
- CPA license required
- Deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition principles, preferably in technology sector
- Proficiency in accounting systems (NetSuite preferred), Excel, Salesforce, and revenue automation tools
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
- Knowledge of SOX requirements and internal controls
Nice to have
- Experience in accounting firm national office or advisory practice
- Experience with SaaS, consumption-based, or AI-driven business models, ideally pre-IPO or public company
- Track record of system and process improvements during hyper growth
- Strong cross-functional relationship building
- Ability to manage ambiguity and make informed decisions independently
