What you will do

• Own the operation, maintenance, and improvement of A/V systems across conference rooms and event venues.
• Lead mid-size A/V projects from scoping and design to installation and post-deployment support.
• Serve as the technical lead for flagship events like GDC, Hack Week, and company All-Hands.
• Manage relationships with A/V integrators and production vendors, including scope negotiation and quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot complex A/V issues involving control systems, DSP, and video routing standards.
• Provide advanced end-user hardware and enterprise software support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT support with a focus on A/V systems or event production.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Hands-on expertise with A/V control platforms like Crestron and Savant.
• Deep knowledge of A/V architecture, signal flow, and modern conferencing infrastructure.
• Proven experience providing on-site support for large-scale events under time pressure.
• Experience managing third-party A/V integrators and service providers.

Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS-level credentials or formal A/V design training.
• Experience with A/V-over-IP networking fundamentals (VLANs, QoS, PTP).
• Background in broadcast, streaming, or live production workflows.
• Experience with automation tools and process optimization.
