Sr. Manufacturing Test Engineer (Electro-Mechanical Systems)

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing test strategy during NPI transitions into high-volume production.
• Develop scalable test architectures and coverage strategies across ICT, BFT, and SFT platforms.
• Drive DFT improvements that increase coverage, reduce cycle time, and improve yield.
• Collaborate with test design teams, tester suppliers, and contract manufacturers through development, FAT, SAT, qualification, and production ramp phases.
• Optimize tester capacity, throughput, station balancing, FPY, and final yield across manufacturing sites.
• Lead change control, validation, regression testing, standardized system deployment, maintenance, and executive production reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing test engineering experience in power electronics or related high-volume industries, including at least 2 years leading lab operations or technical team members.
• Experience transitioning NPI programs into high-volume mass production and scaling test operations across global manufacturing sites.
• Strong knowledge of ICT, BFT, SFT, DFT, test automation, and production yield improvement.
• Programming proficiency in C#, Python, or C++, plus experience with Python, LabVIEW, and TestStand.
• Experience with schematics, test-point requirements, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, QRQC, global contract manufacturers, and cross-functional technical leadership.
