Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Location: San Diego, California, United States; onsite five days a week; 2nd shift

Salary: $112,704–$169,056 per year

What you will do

• Design and support manufacturing equipment, processes, and facilities.
• Identify and implement enhancements and modifications to complex manufacturing operations.
• Monitor equipment and process reliability and resolve technical problem areas.
• Lead engineering support for equipment and process planning, development, operation, and maintenance.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and development for operations staff and support areas.
• Apply change control, lean manufacturing, and process optimization practices.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent previous manufacturing engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with manufacturing engineering, manufacturing equipment, and manufacturing processes.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, change control, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and make effective operational judgments.
• Must work onsite in San Diego five days per week on the 2nd shift.
