Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing Test

Salary: $130,000–$155,000 per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Develop functional test coverage and validation plans for PCBAs, subsystems, and integrated production systems.
• Design, modify, and support bed-of-nails fixtures, interface boards, harness fixtures, and other electrical test hardware.
• Integrate and troubleshoot oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, electronic loads, DAQs, and communication interfaces.
• Support board bring-up, hardware validation, root-cause analysis, and rapid debugging of failed tests.
• Partner with design, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and fixture vendors to improve yield, diagnostics, and product quality.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation and test procedures while supporting calibration, pilot builds, NPI, and production ramps.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Fundamental understanding of analog and digital circuits, PCBAs, and electronic manufacturing processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and issue-ownership skills.
• Experience designing or debugging simple circuits and using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other laboratory equipment.
• Exposure to manufacturing test fixtures, production testing, hardware validation, contract manufacturers, suppliers, or hardware vendors.
• Familiarity with DFM, DFT, NPI, PCBA manufacturing, and PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.
