What you will do

• Design and maintain database infrastructure using StatefulSets, Operators, and Helm charts.
• Own the deployment lifecycle for database clusters and manage version control for Helm configurations.
• Administer production database systems with a focus on performance, security, and availability.
• Execute zero-downtime upgrades and migrations using automated scripts and Helm hooks.
• Optimize backend data stores to ensure consistency and integrity across pod lifecycles.
• Develop automation tools in Bash and Python to simplify Kubernetes management tasks.

Requirements

• Must be based in the European Union and hold a valid work permit.
• 4+ years of experience managing large-scale, high-availability PostgreSQL or MongoDB systems.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation scripting.
• English proficiency: B2+ level required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL HA concepts (Patroni, Repmgr) or MongoDB sharding.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or CloudWatch.
• Interest in AI-driven practices and agent-based workflows within the SDLC.
