Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 per year

What you will do

• Identify common design needs across engineering teams and translate them into reusable "paved paths" to accelerate delivery.
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation, reference architectures, and implementation guides.
• Develop reusable artifacts such as Terraform modules and code templates that encode best practices.
• Collaborate with platform and foundation teams to integrate capabilities into developer-friendly patterns.
• Contribute to and evolve AI-assisted developer workflows, including agent-based tools and prompt patterns.
• Gather feedback from application teams to iterate on usability and reduce cognitive load for builders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of relevant experience building and operating production software systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CFT.
• Experience translating complex platform capabilities into usable patterns and abstractions for other developers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and modern deployment patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience in platform engineering, developer experience (DX), or internal tooling roles.
• Background in building AI-assisted development workflows or prompt engineering.
• Experience working within large, federated organizations.
• Ability to balance the creation of documentation versus building tooling based on effectiveness.
