Salary: $185,000 – $230,000 per year

What you will do

• Automate IaC to manage virtual machines and deploy containers, services, and custom Kubernetes clusters in AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premises.
• Collaborate with platform developers and customer-facing teams to define requirements and build solutions for platform use cases.
• Execute software deployments to commercial and classified Department of Defense (DOD) networks.
• Perform incident response and initial triage of critical system faults.
• Monitor, automate, and improve software reliability, performance, and availability across various projects.
• Provide guidance and leadership to junior DevOps team members.

Requirements

• Active Secret (or above) US security clearance and US citizenship are mandatory.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Golang, and microservice deployment in Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Helm Chart, Kustomizations, and IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Ability to work cross-functionally to build solutions and respond professionally to critical incidents.

Nice to have

• Experience with US federal security policies (STIGs, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, CMMC, ICD 503).
• Experience with software deployments to on-premises and cloud-based classified networks within the DOD.
• DevSecOps and CI/CD expertise for GPU-enabled servers.
• Experience deploying Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) projects.
• Knowledge of NAS/SAN technologies and deployments in DDIL environments.
