What you will do
- Perform time-sensitive psychosocial and safety/risk assessments via phone and video.
- Deliver targeted interventions for stabilization and suicide risk management.
- Determine escalation pathways for behavioral health crises using clinical SOPs.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve barriers like housing and financial toxicity.
- Maintain high-quality clinical documentation of triage assessments and safety plans.
- Analyze triage volumes to identify opportunities for workflow improvement and safety enhancement.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
- Unrestricted master’s-level social work license (e.g., LCSW/LISW) in primary practice state.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical social work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proven competence in risk assessment and crisis management (psychosis, suicidality).
- Strong telehealth and phone-based clinical skills.
- Ability to work a 4/10 schedule, including Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays (temporary requirement through September).
Nice to have
- Oncology social work experience or OSW-C/APHSW-C certification.
- Experience in a startup, virtual care, or tech-forward environment.
- Experience as a subject-matter consultant in a Behavioral Health pod model.
