What you will do
- Conduct initial triage and telephonic case management for Workers' Compensation claims.
- Perform clinical assessments to determine appropriate medical care and treatment pathways.
- Develop and monitor initial case management care plans based on clinical findings.
- Facilitate communication between injured workers, employers, claims professionals, and healthcare providers.
- Document all contacts, interviews, and medical information accurately in the claims system.
- Educate injured workers and families about recovery expectations and care plans.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active and unrestricted state license.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience (e.g., medical-surgical, ICU, occupational health).
- Must be based in the United States.
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation and patient advocacy principles.
- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Workers’ Compensation case management experience.
- Prior telephonic case management or triage experience.
