Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Mountain View, Los Angeles, New York City, or San Francisco, United States

Estimated base salary: $180K–$230K, plus equity

hirify.global is building an AI-native healthcare operating system covering clinical documentation, patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous revenue cycle management integrated with more than 60 EHRs.

What you will do

• Build and maintain clearinghouse integrations for claims submission, verification, responses, and error handling.
• Develop the claim generation pipeline for professional CMS-1500, institutional CMS-1450/UB, dental CDT, paper, and PDF claims.
• Implement Eligibility Orchestrator routing logic with safeguards against applying coverage results to the wrong person.
• Scale a configurable, idempotent, and explainable rule engine across high transaction volumes.
• Own integration workflows from design and development through deployment and post-launch monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and healthcare teams; mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive architectural improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development industry experience.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and React.
• Proficiency with Python or Go.
• Experience with Git, GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, and monitoring and alerting tools.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing end-to-end solutions and making successful architectural decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
