Backend Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based out of the downtown San Francisco office

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Build new backend features and scale core APIs.
• Develop and scale ingestion and AI systems.
• Ship new product features from prototype to production for end users.
• Build production solutions closely with prospects and customers.
• Translate user feedback into features and contribute to the product roadmap.
• Ship and operate applications at scale.

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Experience shipping completely new product features from prototype to production.
• Experience shipping applications at scale.
• Experience with or interest in AI/LLM-native applications.
• Strong ability to iterate rapidly with customers and engineers and translate feedback into product features.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup based out of the San Francisco office.
