TL;DR

Business Development Representative II (Ecommerce): Driving outbound lead generation for an AI-driven post-purchase platform for retailers with an accent on multi-channel prospecting and pipeline growth. Focus on targeting C-level decision makers, developing a scalable outbound playbook, and collaborating with Account Executives.

Location: Must be based in the Bay Area (San Francisco) and able to work from the office 3 days a week.

Salary: $90,000 OTE ($65,000 base + $25,000 variable)

What you will do

  • Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and text.
  • Identify and engage Director, VP, and C-level decision-makers at ecommerce brands.
  • Partner with Account Executives to qualify meetings and build a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Contribute to the creation and optimization of the outbound sales playbook.
  • Develop domain expertise in warranty and post-purchase solutions within assigned verticals.

Requirements

  • Located in the Bay Area.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in retail/ecommerce or 6–12 months as an SDR/BDR in ecommerce, fintech, or merchant-tech.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline targets.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha, and Chorus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to Heads of Ecommerce, CX, Operations, or DTC founders.
  • Experience working with Shopify Plus, BigCommerce Enterprise, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud merchants.
  • Experience booking meetings against a sharply defined ICP.
