What you will do
- Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executive(s) in the designated territory.
- Act as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
- Lead proofs-of-concept and provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs in a competitive landscape.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
- Create customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
Requirements
- Location: United States (candidates in other locations will be considered).
- 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
- Technical pre-sales experience across the sales lifecycle and complex customer interactions.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives.
- Experience coding in a core programming language (Python, Java, or Scala) and willingness to learn Spark.
- Hands-on experience with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s).

- Base salary range: $180,000–$247,500 USD (zone-based pay range transparency).
