What you will do

• Generate billing files for assigned newspaper properties and ensure data accuracy prior to submission.
• Process returns and financial adjustments for carriers and single-copy accounts.
• Manage subscriber refunds and ensure carrier pay files are submitted for timely payment.
• Collaborate with Circulation Operations and GL teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain shared mailboxes and proactively refine billing procedures.
• Interpret financial documents, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Knowledge of accounting processes and controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence.
• Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets using formulas.
• Ability to solve practical problems in environments with limited standardization.
• Must be willing to submit and pass a full pre-employment background check.
• Associate’s degree and 1–3 years of billing experience are preferred but not required.
