Finance Intern

TL;DR

Finance Intern (Finance/Accounting): Supporting day-to-day accounting and finance operations for MCI USA with an accent on financial reporting, reconciliations, and process documentation. Focus on building practical skills in financial analysis, accounts receivable management, and supporting month-end audit activities within a collaborative environment.

Location: Must be based in the United States

What you will do

• Support daily finance and accounting tasks including data entry, record maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end, audit, and internal review activities by preparing supporting schedules and documentation.
• Contribute to cash flow reporting, financial analysis, and the improvement of standard operating procedures.
• Manage accounts receivable processes including invoice preparation, payment processing, and monitoring the AR inbox.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and finance team members to complete assigned projects and maintain financial data integrity.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
