What you will do

• Perform daily billing and follow-up activities to support the revenue cycle process.
• Document all claim statuses, payments, and settlements in the system.
• Identify and escalate issues affecting billing accuracy and payment timelines.
• Contact payers directly to resolve delayed payments and respond to correspondence.
• Investigate overpayments, underpayments, and credit balances to maximize reimbursement.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members on new systems and processes.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in revenue cycle functions within a hospital, clinic, or health insurance environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

• Experience and knowledge of Medicaid/HMO hospital medical billing.
• Experience working in a complex, multi-site healthcare environment.
