Product Manager

Location: Hybrid work with required reporting to the Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ office; ability to travel 25% to SHI, partner, and customer events.

Salary: $135,000–$165,000 annual pay range, including base salary.

What you will do

• Lead stakeholder discussions covering intake, discovery, problem definition, scope alignment, and prioritization.
• Define business problems, desired outcomes, success metrics, value drivers, assumptions, dependencies, and scope boundaries.
• Evaluate transformation requests for business alignment, readiness, expected value, feasibility, and cross-functional impact.
• Create execution-ready demand packages and provide business context for technical solutioning and estimates.
• Prepare recommendations, business cases, and decision materials for prioritization forums.
• Improve product discovery processes, intake standards, templates, communication, and change-readiness practices.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in product management, business product ownership, business analysis, consulting, transformation, or technology-enabled change.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of product management principles, intake governance, discovery frameworks, and value-driven prioritization.
• Ability to structure complex business requirements, assumptions, dependencies, and success criteria into execution-ready packages.
• Experience with Jira Product Discovery, Jira, Confluence, or similar product management platforms.
• Ability to work from the Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ office on a hybrid basis and travel 25%.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise transformation, operating model change, business process optimization, or digital modernization.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, Planview, ServiceNow, Workday, WMS, Palantir, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Knowledge of RICE, MoSCoW, value-versus-effort matrices, weighted scoring, KPI analysis, dashboards, or A/B testing.
• Knowledge of design thinking, service design, human-centered design, AI, cloud technologies, or modern digital transformation tools.
• Experience facilitating workshops, design sprints, or cross-functional discovery sessions.
