What you will do

• Develop and implement a layered security strategy to protect company personnel, information, and programs.
• Manage the industrial security program, including FSO team leadership, DD-254 mechanics, and Technology Control Plans.
• Oversee the planning, construction, and accreditation of classified spaces across multiple domestic sites.
• Design and manage physical security programs, including access control, CCTV, badging, and guard force management.
• Lead internal investigations regarding security incidents, counterintelligence, and insider threats.
• Build and mentor a security team capable of supporting a rapidly growing cleared workforce.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive security experience, with significant time in an FSO or Deputy FSO role at a cleared defense contractor.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
• Deep working knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), ICD 705, and related government security directives.
• Experience managing FCLs and personnel security programs in DISS.
• Proven ability to lead teams and build security programs within high-growth environments.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Hawthorne, California.

Nice to have

• Prior experience as a government PSO, security specialist, or military security manager.
• Familiarity with export control regulations (ITAR/EAR).
• Experience supporting security programs across multiple geographically distributed facilities.
• Background working in high-growth, venture-backed tech companies.
