What you will do

• Serve as the principal security advisor to the Government Security Committee (GSC) and primary interface with the DCSA.
• Manage and enforce FOCI compliance, including the execution of Proxy Agreements (PA) and Affiliated Operations Plans (AOP).
• Administer end-to-end personnel security clearance processing via JPAS/DISS.
• Lead the maturation of the Insider Threat Program, including reporting mechanisms and a multi-disciplinary hub.
• Partner with legal counsel to ensure ITAR/EAR export control compliance as it intersects with SaaS products.
• Develop and deliver annual security education and awareness training for cleared and uncleared personnel.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) in a cleared defense contractor environment.
• Deep working knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), DAAPM/Risk Management Framework, and DCSA processes.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance is required.
• Demonstrated experience managing FOCI mitigation instruments (PA, SCA, SSA).
• Proficiency with JPAS, DISS, and eQIP/SF-86 processing.
• Must be based in the USA (East Coast).

Nice to have

• Industrial Security Professional (ISP) or similar certification.
• Experience in FOCI-mitigated environments at commercial software or technology companies.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to streamline business workflows.
• Experience managing COMSEC accounts or working in multi-facility environments.
