What you will do
- Handle inbound patient calls with empathy and professionalism to provide first-point-of-contact support.
- Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and confirmations within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Guide patients through clinic services, providers, and assessment processes.
- Assist patients with technical troubleshooting for accessing virtual therapy and coaching sessions.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and ensure full adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other administrative team members to ensure continuity of patient service.
Requirements
- Experience in healthcare or mental health settings (preferred).
- Proven background in customer service, reception, or call center administration.
- Strong verbal communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
- Strict alignment with the Ontario, Canada (Eastern Time) work schedule (Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM).
