What you will do

  • Implement and maintain project-specific Drug and Alcohol Substance Abuse Programs.
  • Conduct detailed site safety and health inspections and incident investigations.
  • Develop and deliver employee safety and health training programs.
  • Manage project security contracts, policies, and worker's compensation procedures.
  • Interface with clients and government officials regarding safety compliance.
  • Supervise and mentor junior safety and health staff.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of safety and health experience in a professional setting.
  • Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding including background checks and drug screens.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
  • Ability to perform physical labor in varying temperature extremes and construction environments.
  • Strong reporting, communication, and conflict management skills.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a construction environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSHA 500/501, First Aid, or CPR.
