What you will do
- Implement and maintain project-specific Drug and Alcohol Substance Abuse Programs.
- Conduct detailed site safety and health inspections and incident investigations.
- Develop and deliver employee safety and health training programs.
- Manage project security contracts, policies, and worker's compensation procedures.
- Interface with clients and government officials regarding safety compliance.
- Supervise and mentor junior safety and health staff.
Requirements
- 5+ years of safety and health experience in a professional setting.
- Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding including background checks and drug screens.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
- Ability to perform physical labor in varying temperature extremes and construction environments.
- Strong reporting, communication, and conflict management skills.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a construction environment.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA 500/501, First Aid, or CPR.
