Transactions Consultant (Latam)

TL;DR

Transactions Consultant (Latam): Contributing to technical due diligence engagements for infrastructure assets with an accent on renewable energy, conventional generation, and utility projects. Focus on collecting and analyzing data, developing technical assessment reports, and conducting site visits to support lenders and investors.

Location: Must be based in the US, with a hybrid work environment requiring 3 days per week in a hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Perform technical due diligence for renewable energy, oil & gas, and water infrastructure projects.
• Collect and analyze project data to support lenders and investors.
• Develop comprehensive technical assessment reports and presentations.
• Conduct site visits and maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and financial analysts.
• Manage project tasks and meet client expectations within engagement scopes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in a business or consulting environment.
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days/week in office).
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available).
• Solid knowledge of energy technologies such as solar PV, wind, or battery storage.

Nice to have

• Experience in Latin America infrastructure project development or financing.
• Familiarity with the regulatory and energy market landscape in Latin America.
• Advanced technical or industry knowledge in power generation.
• MBA or financial/economic degree with relevant experience.
