What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of analysts with mentorship, technical guidance, feedback, and career development.
• Own and evolve metrics to evaluate fraud system performance, operational effectiveness, and customer friction.
• Become an expert in Payments Fraud data (scams, chargebacks, promo abuse), customer experience, and policy.
• Formulate hypotheses, design and evaluate product experiments, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
• Partner with program and product managers to define and execute fraud prevention strategies and roadmaps.
• Support SQL-heavy analyses, data quality investigations, and complex modeling; leverage AI tools and agentic workflows to accelerate fraud analytics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a data analyst role (or equivalent full-time experience), including 2–3 years of people management experience.
• Strong SQL proficiency; working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Expertise in statistical concepts such as A/B testing, probability theory, and forecasting in real-world fraud/risk contexts.
• Proven ability to translate stakeholder discussions into hypotheses, analytical frameworks, analyses, and clear recommendations.
• Strong data storytelling skills (data visualization and technical writing) to communicate with non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g., LLM-assisted analysis or agentic workflows) to improve analytical productivity and quality.
